Pabau to Participate in the BCAM Conference 2022

Inspiring professional beauty and aesthetic excellence, the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) Conference is once again set to take place this year.
The Conference offers aesthetic practitioners a unique opportunity to learn from prominent industry experts and network with other aesthetic professionals.
All interested parties are encouraged to join the world-renowned aesthetic doctor Jean Carruthers along with other proclaimed aestheticians on Saturday, 10 September 2022, at Church House, Westminster.

What is the objective of BCAM?

Apart from being a non-profit organisation, the BCAM’s purpose is to promote safe and ethical aesthetic procedures for the benefit of the general public and practitioners.
The BCAM is also responsible for assisting patients in making rational and educated decisions regarding the many treatments available and the significance of finding the desired aesthetic practitioner.
The College, which celebrated its 20th-anniversary last year through virtual educational sessions, is now preparing to welcome visitors from all over the world.
With this being their first in-person event in 3 years, BCAM Events & Partnerships Coordinator Dawn Larcombe commented: “I’m really looking forward to it, and I think people want to get back into it.

What can you expect at the conference?

The BCAM Conference provides a unique opportunity to meet, engage, and cooperate with practitioners who contribute to the future of aesthetic practice. The goal is to keep members up to date on best practices and the latest treatments and approaches.

Through various lectures and engaging panel discussions, the guests will have a rare opportunity to learn about skincare, fat reduction/muscle toning, skin tightening, and injectable innovations.

If you want to stay on top of the fast-changing world of aesthetic medicine and learn about the latest strategies, this is the place to be.

Hear from Jean Carruthers, the botox pioneer

Canada-based Dr Jean Carruthers is specifically travelling to the UK as the honorary guest at this year’s BCAM Conference.
Dr Carruthers has delivered thousands of talks on cosmetic surgery and has been featured in some of the world’s most acclaimed magazines, like Allure, Vogue, and The New York Times.

[su_quote cite=”Dr Catherine Fairris, BCAM Vice President “]We are honoured to have such an inspirational speaker at this year’s event, it’s a fitting way to celebrate our return to a physical conference after two successive virtual events.[/su_quote]

Dr Carruthers was the first to employ botulinum A exotoxin (Botox) for cosmetic purposes, and she continues to push the industry forward.
