Jane App is an all-in-one health and wellness practice management platform.
Available online and on any device, Jane offers branded online booking, scheduling, insurance management, customizable charting, online intake forms, patient reminders, integrated payment processing, online appointments (telehealth) and more.
Pabau is an all-in-one practice management software specifically designed for the complex needs of a medically related patient journey.
The majority of our clients are in the medi-aesthetic industry, however we also have customers that are GP Clinics, Cosmetic surgeries, Pharmacies, and more.
With clients all over the world, Pabau provides everything a practice needs to reduce time spent on admin, improve the patient experience, and attract new customers.
Jane App has three tiers which cost CAD $79 a month, $109 a month, and CAD $399 a month. You’ll have to pay for the pricer plans to unlock all of the features in the system.
The prices listed are all for one user. For every additional full-time user you add, it costs between CAD $25-$30 and for every additional part-time user it costs between CAD $12.50-$15.
You can also add on their online booking for groups feature, which costs $15 a month.
Pabau’s pricing is based on the number of users and every client will get access to all features for a flat monthly fee.
The only additional costs are entirely optional. We offer one-off training and data transfer services to save you time and help you get up and running as soon as possible.
The other optional fees are SMS charges and our advanced marketing feature.

That’s why it has features that have been created specifically for this sector, such as automated pre-care and aftercare emails, electronic medical records (EMR), allergy / contraindication warnings, before and after photos, injection plotting, customizable forms, and so on. At Pabau, we get you.
Let’s just put it out there, Jane is a really great software solution. However, they reserve some of their best features for their more expensive pricing plans.
Plus, the group online video conferring feature is an optional add–on that will cost you an extra CAD $15 a month. If you’d prefer a system that has video conferencing included, along with everything else you need to run your practice, Pabau is the one.
Jane App has a LOT of fantastic features that we know practices will love. However, one area where they are a little light is marketing. You can send email and SMS reminders, but you can’t send email blast campaigns.
What that means is you’ll need to budget for an additional tool to do your marketing, such as MailChimp, and ensure it talks to Jane. On the other hand, in Pabau you can do everything under one roof using our marketing feature. Easy mode, activated.
With Jane, review emails automatically go out three hours after an appointment. That’s fine for a treatment like a hydra facial or botox, but what about cosmetic surgery? Pabau offers more customizability around reviews so you can reach out to clients at the right time.
Pabau not only fully automates the process of gathering reviews, but it also enables you to publish your latest and greatest reviews on your website and on Google My Business.
