    In our continuing efforts to provide the best performing platform for our users, we are excited to announce the new update of the Pabau web app, containing new features, improvements and bug fixes. This release continues our focus on making Pabau better, faster, and easier to use.

    Here’s a breakdown of some of the biggest changes in the update:

    🌟New features


    New online payment methods

    You can now take Apple Pay, Google Pay and Microsoft Pay payments through Pabau, all done with the Stripe integration.
    The statistics show there’s a 60% uptick in successful bookings when these new payment methods are added. Check out this video with the steps to enable the new payment methods.


    Enhanced two-factor authentication (We recommend you turn it on!)

    At a time when the dependency on computers is rapidly growing, we realized that raising the security bar even further is needed to protect user data. We have made our system easier to access for staff members, and a nightmare to attackers.

    This improvement features:
    – 4-digit verification of phone number for unknown locations;
    – SMS verification;
    – Answer to a question, or a PIN, compensating for forgotten mobile device, low network coverage, or other country;
    all of them appearing once you enter the correct password.

    To activate the two-factor authentication, and raise the security bar to the next level, go to the Security tab of the Business Details settings.

    Improved client access to sensitive data

    Client’s email addresses are now at a constant risk more than ever, as they are heavily used. This must not be the case with their medical data. When you send them a sensitive email (you tick the Sensitive data? checkbox), they can access it either via SMS verification code, or by answering a random question pulled from their client card details. We have also made it possible for emails to expire, after a time period defined by you.

    To learn more about these settings, and activate them, go to the Security tab of the Business Details settings.

    We have improved GP Database for Ireland;
    Client Card – We have made draft email and draft letters more prominent in the Communication tab
    Client card – We have improved raising invoices from the class card
    We have improved the CO146: Treatment Missing Data report to show the Medical History as complete the second time it is filled out and to add a step for Photo Check

    GET Appointments API – We have added staff_name as a row for this type of API.
    Client Card – We have made draft email and draft letters more prominent in the Communication tab
    Client card – We have improved raising invoices from the class card
    We have added Voucher Expiry Date to the CO085 Gift Cards report
    Client Card – Finance – Account payments – To have a field for changing the location
    XERO Improvements
    We’ve improved Lab Request Page Filteration
    Treatment Template: We’ve added Type Filter on listing page
    Drug Fields reordering in the prescription is now supported
    We’ve improved the commission sheet feature
    Lab Request: We’ve added Lab request result preview on Client Card
    Connect Portal: We’ve redesigned Lab Orders page design
    Client Card – We have stopped displayed the new booking notification in the patient’s communication tab
    We have improved the Pabau Connect theme settings
    Marketing – Newsletter manager – We have added new fonts
    Custom Fields Categories – We have added a list of custom fields categories
    Rota ‘Show More’ improvement
    REFUND – We have improved the issue with the automatic selection of Refund Method
    Medical forms created date sort filter
    We have improved Company search in the company card [/showhide]

    TDL – We have fixed the issue with the ” \ ” automatically added in the last name
    Client Card – EMR – We have fixed why some documents can’t be opened from the client card in PDF.
    Connect – We have fixed the issue with the changes made in the client card not being applied on the connect portal
    We have fixed the issue of the purchase order email not sending to the supplier
    We have addressed an issue with ‘Allowed locations’ and ‘Total Active Locations’
    We have fixed an issue with not being able to add a GP Details to a client if there isn’t GP Name added
    RECALLS – We have checked why 1 recall was displayed 3 times
    CONNECT – We have investigated why one appointment has been booked in the past
    We have fixed an issue with aftercares not showing under communication tab
    We have fixed the issue with SMS confirmations and SMS reminders not being sent
    We have fixed an issue with not being able to sell products by scanning them
    Gift_ Voucher – We have fixed the issue with the merge tag for gift voucher code
    Buzzfeed – We have fixed the issue with appointments being displayed on buzzfeed after the transaction failed
    CLIENT CARD – We have checked why the system is automatically changing the “To” recipient when the “CC” recipient is selected
    We have tested why the location name appears as the sender name in emails when the location has an email address added to its information page
    We have fixed an issue with being unable to allocate GP Name to the selected GP Practice
    CALENDAR – We have fixed the issue with the services associated with appointments not being recognized in POS
    CALENDAR – We have fixed the issue with the completion of several appointments booked via “Save&Add Another” option
    We have fixed an issue with 2 records of online bookings showing for the same appoitnment on the buzzfeed
    iOS app – We have fixed the filed type in the medical forms not to mess the form when completed from the app
    iOS app – We have fixed the precares to be sent when the appointment is booked from the app.
    Reports – Clients can be pressed only on the first page of the report – We have fixed this
    LEAD CARD – We have fixed the issue with the merge tags not populating any information in a template
    POS – We have fixed the issue when clearing the items to not change the services in products
    Create – Contact – We have fixed the issue with user not being able to view the client card after creating a contact

    CLIENT CARD – We have checked why the user is unable to upload a particular photo to a client card
